Pumpkin Bread

3 1/2 c. flour

2 c. sugar

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. each cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg

2 tsp. soda

1 tsp. baking powder

4 eggs

1 cup water

1 c. vegetable oil

2 c pumpkin


Mix all together and pour into greased/floured bread pans.  Bake at 325 for 1 hour.

Makes 2 large loves or 3 medium loaves.


I usually add at least 1/2 cup nuts and raisins to the recipe.
