Gingerbread Squares


Stir with a whisk:
1 1/4 c flour
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda

Combine, stirring with a whisk:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. molasses
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 large egg, slightly beaten

Stir wet mixture into flour mixture. Pour into 9-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.

Can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
